The paint catches the light and shifts from gold to copper as you tilt the page
This set contains pearlescent watercolour pigments that catch the light instead of lying flat on the page. Each pan holds a fine mica-based pigment that mixes with water in the usual way, but dries with a soft shimmer rather than a matte finish. Tilt the paper and the colour shifts between tones, similar to the sheen on nacre or polished mineral surfaces.
Why is this Pearlescent Watercolour Paint Set perfect for you?
- Mica-based pigment: Produces a shimmer effect, so highlights, water and metallic details read as reflective instead of flat.
- Three pack options: Choose a warm palette, a cool palette or the full 20-colour range, so you only buy the tones you'll actually use.
- Standard pan format: Pigments activate with water like typical watercolours, so no special brushes or mediums are needed.
- Colour shifts with viewing angle: The finish changes shade as the paper tilts, adding visible depth to washes and fine linework.

Function: Produces a shimmering, light-reflective wash instead of a matte finish
